One of Wellingtons most loved stand up comics, Steve Wrigley created Rhinoradar with his good friend and fellow comic Cori, see below. Steve has performed all over New Zealand, as well as in New York, and Canada. Not just a funny man, Steve is a huge dork, and spends alot of time hunched over a drawing board illustrating comic books or infront of a computer learning how to make web sites, writing scripts, but never playing video games.

Steve likes to bake. Pies and Cookies, and sometime Cake. He will cook sausages. Toast is amazing.

Steve wants you to come back every week and tell all your friends about this site. Myspace links and web pages to follow, visiting a must.

I have been performing as a stand-up comedian and actor for just over three years now. In that time I have won various awards including the prestigious 2003 TV2 NZ International Comedy Festival Quest for the Fest after only 5 gigs. Since then I have been voted 2005 Wellington Comedian of the Year and have this year received my second consecutive nomination for New Zealand’s biggest comedy award, the Billy T Award. I have performed stand-up all over the country and am considered one of the top comedians working in NZ at the moment. My first one hour solo show, I Love David Hasselhoff became the best selling debut show in the history of the NZ International Comedy Festival in 2005, selling out in both Auckland and Wellington. The extra shows put on also sold out within days. This year I will be performing my second solo show, The Neverending Cori in this years NZ International Comedy Festival in Auckland and Wellington.
I’ve also got extensive film and TV experience having appeared in the local series’ The Insider’s Guide to Happiness, The Lost Children and the televised TV2 Comedy Gala in 2005. I have also appeared in the award winning Australian show, Holly’s Heroes. I spent most of 2004 and 2005 working as Oscar winner, Adrien Brody’s body double in Peter Jackson’s King Kong. Although you don’t see my face in the film, the experience was bigger than anything I’d ever done before. However, I will be making my proper feature film debut later this year playing Mark in Oscar nominee Taika Waititi’s much awaited film, Eagle vs Shark.
I am also a published writer having had my work appear in various newspapers and magazines. In 2004 a few fellow comedians and myself were approached my Gibson Group to develop a comedy show for TV. We spent a year doing this and gained valuable experience in the world of comedy writing. By the time our episodes were re-written and edited and re-written again by outside writers, the pilot episode looked pretty average. Once we watched what we had filmed we knew it wouldn’t get anywhere. Im hoping to get another chance at this and do it right this
time.

Noor is Rhino's director. As well as directing sketches for this site, he is currently working on his fourth short film entitled "Dreamer" as well as numerous other project ranging from developing a TV series and a couple of music videos with his production company A Boy Named Hamburger Productions.

As well as being a film guy, Noor is an impressive stand-up comic winning the 2005 Rookie comp as well as the Wellington Raw Comedy Quest two years in a row. He also likes to trim his beard on a regular basis.

Cam is the Technical backbone of the whole operation. From the ins and outs of grading, sound, editing, stills photography and web design, there isn't a base Cam doesn't have covered. Some of us think he's a robot, others think he's an alien, nobody thinks he's human. Modest and steely eyed, this techno wizard who lives without food or sleep is an entity without whom this website would not exist.

Loves a good dance off. Name a song and she’ll know ALL the words. Performs in theatre sports with the Improvisors. Actress in television and commercials. Has worked behind the scenes in the film and television industry as a video split operator and camera assistant. Is an excellent nail biter, consumer of burger rings, red bull and pinky bars, Oh and is awesome (favourite word)
Believes that the film genres “thriller” and “horror” should be outlawed - and people should only watch funny shit!

Lindsey is a starving artist that likes to draw and sculpt strange looking creatures. One day she hopes to do this for a living through pre-production artwork for the film industry. In her spare time however, she enjoys taking part in anything that causes people to wet their pants... comedy or otherwise.
Lindsey has a myspace, if you'd like to check it out please go to: www.myspace.com/creaturegirl

Elizabeth, AKA "Biz" or "Pod Woman", does many cool things. She excels in many areas such as producing, directing, singing really good,
and just generally looking cool. Elizabeth denies all rumors of being an American. She loves dinosaurs, space aliens and filming stuff. If she wins, she promises to donate half of the prize money to charities which involve the rescuing of puppies and other various cute little baby animals.

Chris is good in a pinch with a lamp, candle or cigarette lighter. Yep, we operate on a tight budget here at the radar, but when a sketch demands some glamourous luminescence, Chris is on the scene. He likes manly activity like camping and hunting and hates barbie dolls and pinwheel scones.

Damian, Damo, or damoscope to his close pals (none), edits, shoots, and generally causes havoc.
Currently trying to fake being cool by being invloved with the clowns from Rhinoradar

Hamish Brown has been a complete show-pony since the age of 4. When he is not working as a crew member on glorious feature films, he can be
found writing and performing sketch comedy, eating, sleeping, or playing video games. If you see Hamish on the street after dark DO NOT APPROACH HIM. Keep a safe distance and contact your local police immediately. He is armed and  considered extremely dangerous.

One hot summer, a tragedy occurred. One Cameron Murray perished under the dangerous and scorching hot rays of the New Zealand sun, his soul and mind sucked up through the hole in the ozone layer. Both of which were replaced by the superior soul but limited mental capacity of a timid crustacean going by the name of Pinchey (the ‘e’ is not extraneous).
Pinchey went on to become a Wellington Comedy favourite and reached new heights when winning the NZ Kiwi Comedy Idol Competition in 2004; a competition that they had to abolish after Pinchey won it because no one could live up to the legend.
With pigmentation that most Albinos would be jealous of, Pinchey walks this earth with the hope that one day his brethren will join him in saying: ‘I won a T-shirt once’.

Among TJ's most well known accomplishments is of course the famous Nobel Prize "double header" when in 1985 (at the tender age of 2) he received the Nobel Prizes for both Peace and Chemistry. To TJ himself, however, his most notable acheivement is being crowned "Ultimate Fighter of the Universe of All Time" in 1995 where, in the final round, he brutally savaged the Power Rangers - both individually and in the combined form as The Megazoid. He also kicked the sh*t out of Voltron.

TJ's life is the basis for several screen classics, most notably: Terminator 2; Titanic; Every remake of The Parent Trap; The Matrix (not the sh*t ones); The second season of Full House and, most recently, The Passion of the Christ.

Cyan Corwine is a giddy spirit with a zeal for life and a surplus of ideas pertaining to what she will be before she grows up.

She is well equipped in the world of performing arts both on and off stage.  Actor, dancer, costume designer (helping the radar with any costuming needs and creator of the rhino suit), sound designer, seamstress, can hang a light with the best of them, familiar with most power tools and enjoys wielding them in a productive matter (wears safety goggles), loves writing and has plan to have published a series of children’s books before she gets any taller or starts shrinking (excited).  She is also a big sister who adores her family and is boundlessly appreciative for the beings in her life… they are great!  Go, people, go!  Rah.  Rah.  Rah.

No definitive predictions for what she might be as an adult… probably not much different.  Might take to bird watching and have grey hair.

Keep learning.
Giggle freely.
And embrace those laugh lines.

Jarrod Baker is one half of musical comedy act mrs.peacock, one third of musical comedy act The Suave Jockeys, and the only member of non-musical comedy act Jarrod Baker. He has been known to act, to write stuff and to make the hugely popular and successful web comic Newtown Ghetto Anger, which is probably going to start making him millions of bux any day soon. For reals.
