Its been a big week for us, we got our first modest bit of press (see below) and we are on MYSPACE! Yup, if you visit our myspace (That's if your one of those fiendish Myspace zombies) and join our friends list, you will get to see extra bonus stuff in the coming weeks! Our URL there is www.myspace.com/rhinoradar. On to this weeks sketch, Jermey Elwood is our guest star in a sketch called 'Smoking Guy'. This sketch was inspired buy a rookie comic who will remain nameless who looks REALLY bad when he smokes. I'm sure you all know one of those guys/girls. We got so caught up in how amazing he must think he looks, we made a sketch. He is a funny comedian, but a TERRIBLE smoker. Finally, HATE MAIL! Yup, we got some last week. It appears that our comedy is too potent for some people. Jeremy and Brian Elliot described our work as 'Bullshit' and then wrote us an hilarious script about Glass houses and stone throwing. We tried to pursue these two gents via email and phone calls to get some more information from then with regards to their feelings as they pertain to our humble site, but it appears that they either don't exist or are unable to return calls and emails. Jeremy, Brian, we worry about you. Maybe you weren't loved as kids or something, but please, email us or call us so we can give you the hug you so badly need. And if your an avid Rhinoradar fan and would like to read the email B.J. sent us, just drop us a line on our contacts page and we'll forward it on to you. Unless B.J. doesn't want us to do that of course... While we are talking about mail, we got a bunch of fan mail from a lot of you telling us how much you love what we are doing and how you think Cori is fantastic. Cheers heaps. And a double thanks to capital times for the article. And that's this week in the news, a few ups and a few downs, but mostly humour. The Rhino hits the tabloids! RHINORADAR ON ITUNES.
Hello everyone, we just finished our first day on the new Blind Date sketch and it's looking quite good. Thanks to Greg Tozer of Weta Workshop for coming down and helping out with our special effects. We'll look at finish this one next week when we film the rest of the piece and hopefully have it online in a few weeks.
Hey guys, we've been a fair bit busy this week organizing our next film shoot, which promises to be great, we'll even have some special effects, so look out for our blind date sketch coming up next month! We've finally had the chance to put "Trade Me Guy" online, this was one of the first sketches we shot and if you made it to the Rhinoradar launch party at Indigo a few months back you would have seen this, so finally it's on the site...yay!
Things have been happening we promise! The Rhino has taken a short 3 week leave of absence from filming to allow everyone time enough to survive the aftermath of NZ Comedy Festival, which came to a dramatic end last evening. But never fear, we are still posting sketches for your viewing pleaseure, and this week we bring to you 'Peter Andre'. If you have seen Cori's live show during the festival you might have caught this sketch already! So what are you waiting for, head over to the sketchs section and check out the new clip.
This has been an amazing week. We put a whole bunch of stuff in the can, thanks in a big part to the talents of Dai Henwood and Rhys Darby who join the Rhinoradar team. Check out this weeks sketch, Moldo, to see darby in full effect. Also, we are podcasting on Itunes! here is the link if you have Itunes, so you can subscribe! RHINORADAR ON ITUNES And thats it for this week. Enjoy. Oh, and check the photos gallery.

Well, Here we are. Some few thousand of you have been visiting the site for the last month in the hopes of new sketches and found nothing, but have returned today to find not only a new site, but new sketches, new pictures, a new… news section and a new atmosphere. Yup, we have been REAL busy in our tiny little studio churning sketches out. The cutting room floor is awash with bits and pieces of didn’t make its, and we have a bunch of ammo up our sleeves. So what does this mean? Updates, heaps of them, every week! Yup, we took a break since the launch in the updates process to redesign a more efficient site, and get a good back log of sketches behind us. Now we are net broadcasting, I Tunes pod casting and word of mouthing the hell out of Rhinoradar! Thanks to those of you who were among our first fans, welcome all you new comers, and hooray to everyone on the Rhinoradar team. We hope to see you back here every Monday to absorb the new content into your brain stems and tell all your friends. And, If your boss doesn’t let you view plug-ins at work, tell him to screw off, and go work for someone who does allow a precious five minutes, and five megabytes, of light entertainment. Happy Hunting.
